Episode 250 — From Dubai With Love — Crisis News Stories With a Purpose

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

In Episode 250, From Dubai With Love — Crisis News Stories With a Purpose, Butterfly and I look at the latest plane-crisis story and ask a bigger question: Could the hijack story be fabricated in order to manage the image of a certain country?

We discuss the reports surrounding the flight from Dubai, the passengers and crew, the Omani national, the captain, and the passengers who reportedly intervened. We ponder how the way events are portrayed determines who becomes the victims and who becomes the heroes.

We get into plane crashes, aviation, terrorism, terrorist attacks, pilots, copilots, heroes, victims, handlers, crisis narratives and media coverage, and examine why we are seeing these fake plane-crisis stories lately.

White Pill: Understand that every news story is lies and manipulation, and ask yourself: Why are they showing me this? What do they want me to think and feel—and why?
